Just a little bit of info for you...I have been making cakes for a few years now mainly for my daughters birthdays. It was then I discovered a hidden talent for making novelty cakes.

In the last couple of years I have started making them for friends and friends of friends at a fraction of what some places charge for them.
I have now decided to be brave and venture out among the cake loving public and see if there is enough demand out there to make cakes professionally as it is something I enjoy very much and like to think I am quite good at.

All my cakes are made using quality ingredients. I always bake them 2 days before they are needed to make sure they are as fresh as possible when delivered or collected.
I offer a choice of plain sponge cake with butter cream and strawberry jam filling, or chocolate cake with butter cream filling. I tend to stick to those options mainly because they are the best cakes to use when shaping and are strong enough to support icing/decorations.

Please appreciate you are not just buying a cake you are purchasing a personal, bespoke, talking point cake which has been lovingly made with many hours of time spent on it as well as the quality ingredients used.
I am unable to give a definite price structure as it really depends on how much embellishment is required, so please contact me with your ideas for an individual quote.

A rough price guide is:
Basic cake (example please see my hello kitty, angry birds or Monsters Inc cake)
£40.

A cake that has more detail would start at £50.

Carved cakes also start at £50 (as these use a lot of cake)

Two tier cakes start at £65 - again this depends on details/what is required.


This is literally a guide I do like to give people quotes and various options to choose from so you are able to choose the design that fits within your budget.
These prices are also much cheaper than most - I am always astounded by what some people charge for cakes!

Please remember although I love creating cakes, I do have to charge for my time. So the more intricate the cake is the more time I will have spent on it.
That is the only reason some cakes will be more. As it is I get carried away making pretty things and in most cases I do give a lot of free labour time away!!!

As I am in Stevenage now I am unable to deliver to my usual 'Norf London' customers. But I am sure something can be sorted out!
We can deliver in and around Broadwater, but collections are always welcome!
