Cakes & Ladders is a board game cafe. Serving up a wide variety of cakes such as chocolate brownies, cookies and sponge cakes with freshly made tea, coffee and soft drinks we are the ideal pitstop for a quick snack or a light bite to eat.

Alongside homemade cakes and treats we also provide a huge collection of board games and video games for you to enjoy while you're chowing down! From classics such as Chess and Backgammon to complex board games such as Settlers and Pandemic, we have something for everyone regardless of age, skill and time.

Our goal is to blend together great cakes, great company and great games, providing a safe space where people to indulge and try new things, possibly even gaining a new hobby in between biscuits
