Billys was established in 1985 as the specialist skate and bike store division of Townsends of Cambridge which was founded in 1895. Billys retail shop is now closed but www.billys.co.uk continues to trade from our sister store Townsends Light Blue Cycle Centre.

From humble beginnings above Townsends bike shop, Billys soon expanded and moved into its own premises on Mill Road in 1994. In 2003 we directed our attention towards our current home on Burleigh Street in Cambridge.

In store you will find a vast range of bikes. Road bikes, commuters, Town bikes, Single Speed, Downhill, BMX and kids bikes. Additionally we stock a comprehensive range cycle accessories, everything from essentials such as lights and locks to computers and, mirrors. We also have a large choice of safety gear and cycle clothing.

Upstairs you will discover our huge BMX range, together with Skateboards, Skates, Scooters and all related protective gear and accessories.

With thirty years of experience keeping up with the times and our customers’ changing shopping requirements, our modern website, which is mobile and tablet friendly too, offers the widest range of items in the industry.

Utilising the latest innovative technologies we continue to be dedicated to offering the fastest and most efficient mail order service possible. From the click of a button your item can be delivered in a matter of days. Often next day! What’s more our main courier, DPD, employ an award winning text and email notification system to give you a one hour window for delivery - making staying in all day and waiting for your parcel a thing of the past!

Billys is staffed by keen enthusiasts from the bike and skate worlds and helpful, expert advice is only ever a phone call or email away. Without their hard work, drive, passion and enthusiasm for the action sports industry as a whole, Billys would not be where it is today.
