We have been operating a specialist catering service department for over 30 years.

Our service engineers and office staff are all directly employed by B.I. Catering Equipment Services. We directly employ 6 engineers with a back-up support team in our offices, who look after every aspect of your call. We pride ourselves on our fast response times as we are a regional company and we will always have an engineer in your locallity.

The management team at B.I. all have a catering background, so fully understand the importance of being without key items of equipment in the kitchen and how this impacts on the delivery of your service.

Whatever the size of your company or how much equipment you have, we will always be happy to provide a service to you. This can range from individual call outs when a piece of equipment breaks down, Insurance inspections through to all-encompassing Inspection Service Contracts and installations of new equipment.

All our engineers hold the relevant trade qualifications required to safely carry out the tasks allocated to them. Regular training is provided to ensure that all engineers are up to date with all Manufacturers equipment.

Each engineer carries a personal health and safety file which contains details of the qualifications they hold, Generic risks assessments, method statement, insurance details and all other company certification.

In addition to this all engineers have enhanced CRB clearance enabling them to work in education premises. Each one of our employees carry photo ID at all times.

Communication is a key tool in providing a first class service to our customers and, with this mind, we have invested in a system that allows engineers to receive the jobs on a smart device. This creates job sheets and all records are kept centrally. We can provide you with a full detailed history on any of the equipment in your kitchen.

We offer a range of services including reactive maintenance and inspection service contracts. These can be tailored to your individual needs.
