In July 2013, John Cramb and Gavin Howe set the foundations of Bay Solutions Scotland LTD. Each of the founding directors has 25 years’ management and design experience in electronic manufacturing. In only three years of trading, their specialist skills and attention to detail have catapulted the company to its current impressive position. Starting with a 1000ft² unit in Dalgety Bay, rapid growth saw them adding a second 8000ft² unit in Glenrothes after only 16 months. In the 3 short years of trading, turnover has quadrupled and Bay Solutions has established an enviable reputation for quality, efficiency and cost-saving. Key to this expansion is the commitment and dedication of the highly skilled (and rapidly expanding) workforce. Within the first 2 years BSS was accredited with 1SO 9001:2008 for their Quality Management System. Recently, and following substantial investment, BSS have gained ISO 13485:2003 and EN ISO 13485:2012 certifications for their Medical Device Quality Management System. These accreditations were always in BSS radar and BSS premises can be specifically adapted to suit the requirements of the customer covering numerous and varied design specifications.
