W Bates & Son was formed over 100 years ago and now offers our beautiful marina with new facilities such as gated premises, CCTV and new toilets and showers.

In 1992, Richard Bates & David de Vere founded Bates Wharf Marine Sales offering new and used boat sales. Now, still going strong, and dealers for some international branded boats such as the ever popular Bayliner range, the Trophy fishing r
ange, the stunning Italian Sessa Marine range, the French Beneteau Power & Sail range and newly added is the Cooper brand.

We have the largest indoor showroom on the River Thames, and have two south coast offices at Eastbourne & Poole. All offices offer a full range of facilities.
Our Chertsey Head Office offers craning facilities, short and long term moorings, new and used boat sales, part exchange boat sales, on site shop and chandlery, on site parts service and on site and mobile service centre.

Newly appointed, Bates are also the UK Distributor for Bayliner, Maxum & Trophy boat parts. We are also outboard dealers for Yamaha engines, and spares agents for the following: Yamaha inboard, Yamaha outboard, Mercruiser inboard, Mercury outboards, Mariner outboards, Force outboards and Yanmar inboards.
