Hi, thank you for visiting my portrait page (formerly AFashion Portrait). As a conceptual fashion photographer (www.facebook.com/adrianfarrphotography) and visual storyteller, I am drawn to creating enigmatic worlds and characters of fantasy. That is my escape from reality.

However as someone who is also intrinsically fascinated and deeply inspired by real people, it is the personal connection I get from my portrait work that keeps me tied to the real world, so I do not lose myself entirely to the dreaming one. I believe there is nothing more personal than looking into the eyes of another human being and understanding who they truly are; all that they ever have been, and everything they aspire to be.

And so my portrait work is not about capturing fleeting moments of fabricated painted smiles, like most portrait photographers seem to replicate, but about creating an intimate and emotive visual narrative for an individual; discovering the intricate mysteries of who they are, and unravelling the complexities of their unique personality.

My editorial approach will put you at complete ease in front of the camera, so you can look and feel your absolute best, and be your most authentic self as I interpret your personal story. The images I create for you are then preserved as immersive displays of fine art, ready to be passed down from generation to generation as precious family heirlooms, celebrating you and your life achievements.
