Now under new ownership, 1904 was previously called The Olde Shears but is now re-opened after a refurbishment and has been named after the year the building was built! Vicky and Michael, the new owner/managers, are a local couple that have built a great base of over 20 years experience working in some of the best pubs in Yorkshire.

Their vision for 1904 is to create a warm, welcoming environment perfect for socialising and grabbing a bite to eat. The menu is excellent value (with 2 courses coming in at under £10) and everything is home made in house from scratch using locally sourced ingredients from carefully selected green grocers and butchers. They are exceptionally proud of their fantastic value Sunday Lunch.

1904 at Dean Clough is a family friendly establishment during the day with the emphasis on a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Then on an evening it’s a great place to come and enjoy a night out as there’s always something happening from poker nights to Karaoke and Quiz nights.

There’s a sheltered smoking area outside and as well as the usual selection of quality drinks you would expect there’s also a selection of real ales from Theakstons, as well as premium lagers from Peroni and Kozel. Free WiFi is also available
